Opportunities for Teachers:
Faculty members at SSML “Bona Sforza” have the opportunity to undertake teaching activities at European universities holding the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) with which we have established bilateral agreements.
This initiative is supported by European mobility grants, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and teaching practices across borders.
Interested faculty members should first consult with our Mobility Office to verify the existence of a bilateral agreement with the potential host university and the availability of EU funds.
We encourage teachers to familiarize themselves with the program regulations, especially concerning fund allocation and reporting requirements.
Upon confirmation, the outgoing teacher is responsible for coordinating with the host faculty member to determine the dates, contents, and duration of the mobility. All details must be outlined in a Teaching Agreement, signed by both parties and their respective Erasmus+ administrative offices.
- Key Features of the Program:
Mobility Duration:
The duration extends from a minimum of 5 days to a maximum of 2 months, excluding travel time.
Eligible participants include:
- Full Professors
- Associate Professors
- Researchers
- Contract Professors
Teaching Requirements:
During their stay, participating faculty must engage in at least 8 hours of teaching per week (or any shorter period of stay), ensuring a substantial contribution to the host institution's academic offerings.
Mobility Agreement:
Before the mobility period, a Mobility Agreement must be signed by the staff member, their home institution, and the receiving institution.
This agreement outlines the teaching or training program to be followed, emphasizing mutual responsibility for the quality of the mobility experience.
- Financial Support:
Participants are eligible for EU grants that contribute towards travel and subsistence costs
The grant amount varies depending on several factors, including the destination country and the availability of other financial sources.
- Application Process:
Faculty members interested in participating should apply through SSML “Bona Sforza”.The selection process is designed to be fair, transparent, and well-documented, ensuring equal opportunities for all eligible staff.
For those looking to initiate an exchange or host a visiting educator, it's crucial to consult with our International Relations Office to verify the existence of a bilateral agreement with the partner university and to discuss the availability of EU funds for outgoing mobility.
Hosting International Colleagues:
Our program also welcomes educators from partner institutions to share their expertise within our classrooms. This reciprocal arrangement allows our students to benefit from diverse pedagogical approaches and international perspectives, fostering a global learning environment.
- Application Process:
For incoming mobility, the SSML “Bona Sforza” host teacher simply needs to communicate the hosting dates to our office and facilitate the signing of the required documentation.
