Thanks to the agreement with the University for Foreigners of Perugia, we are taking part in the “Winter School on Artificial Intelligence for Language Learning, Teaching and Assessment.”
The Winter School aims to provide language teachers, curriculum developers, instructional designers, and assessment specialists with tools and strategies to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into language education.
The initiative is part of the actions promoted under the PNRR, aimed at strengthening the quality of the university system, fostering digital transformation, and supporting the development of innovative skills in the education sector, with particular attention to the responsible and inclusive use of artificial intelligence in teaching, learning, and language assessment processes.
The Winter School is coordinated by Professor Letizia Cinganotto.
The event will bring together teachers, trainers, assessment experts, and national and international policymakers for five days of lectures, hands-on workshops, and case studies.
Key topics will include language learning, assessment, AI ethics, and inclusion, with contributions from international speakers representing ALTE (Nick Saville), UNESCO (Miao Fengchun), the European Commission (Anna Sole Mena; Vito Borrelli), the ECML of the Council of Europe, EALTA, INDIRE, INVALSI, and CINECA, as well as faculty members, researchers, and experts from leading Italian academic institutions.
We are honored by the invitation and sincerely thank the organizers for this valuable initiative
